Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions are entered into by and between Solo The Training Club Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Solo”) and the individual entering into the membership (hereinafter referred to as “the Member”).
Services
Membership entitles the Member to use Solo facilities, equipment, and services as specified at the point of sign-up and in accordance with the terms of their selected membership.
Services, schedules, and availability may vary and are subject to change.
Membership
Membership is personal to the Member and may not be shared, transferred, or assigned to any other person.
Age Limit
The Member confirms that they are 18 years of age or older.
Members aged 16 or 17 may attend with written parental or guardian consent
Members under the age of 16 must be supervised at all times and may only attend where expressly permitted by Solo
Health
The Member confirms that they do not suffer from any medical condition that would prevent or hinder safe participation in exercise.
The Member participates in all activities at their own risk and is responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to do so.
The Member should seek advice from a qualified medical professional where appropriate
The Member must inform Solo of any changes to their health or physical condition
Any assessments carried out by Solo are for coaching purposes only and are not medical or diagnostic in nature.
Personal Information
The Member is responsible for ensuring that all personal information held by Solo is accurate and up to date.
Updates must be submitted via the designated support channel. Solo is not responsible for issues arising from inaccurate or outdated information.
Data Protection and Privacy
Solo The Training Club processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
By becoming a Member, you agree to the collection and use of your personal data for the purposes of membership management, communication, and service delivery, as outlined in Solo The Training Club’s Privacy Policy.
Liability
The Member is responsible for any damage or injury caused through negligence or misuse of equipment.
Any associated costs may be invoiced to the Member.
Waiver of Liability
Use of Solo facilities is undertaken at the Member’s own risk.
Members must follow all instructions provided by the Solo team. Solo is not liable for injuries resulting from misuse or failure to follow guidance.
Lost Property and Theft
Solo does not accept responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
Items left on-site may be held for a limited time before being disposed of.
Code of Conduct
Members must act in accordance with Solo’s behavioural standards.
Solo reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership where behaviour is deemed inappropriate or in breach of these standards.
Right to Refuse or Terminate Membership
Solo The Training Club reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate any membership at its discretion where:
A Member breaches these Terms and Conditions
Behaviour is deemed unsafe, inappropriate, or disruptive
Continued membership is not considered in the best interest of the Member, staff, or other Members
No refund will be provided where termination occurs due to breach of these Terms and Conditions.
Access and Opening Hours
Solo operates according to the following standard hours:
Monday to Thursday: 7:00am–12:00pm and 4:00pm–8:00pm
Friday: 7:00am–12:00pm and 4:00pm–6:00pm
Saturday: 8:00am–12:00pm
Opening hours may vary during bank holidays or exceptional circumstances.
Sessions and classes are available according to the schedule provided in the Solo app.
Sessions and Classes
Sessions must be booked in advance via the Solo app
Bookings close 1 hour before the session start time
The first session of the day must be booked by 9:00pm the previous evening
Members must follow booking rules:
Maximum of one (1) of each Small Group Personal Training session type per week (A, B and C)
Maximum of one session or class of the same type per day
Solo reserves the right to remove bookings that do not comply.
Cancellations must be made at least 1 hour prior to the session start time.
Guests
Members may request to bring a guest, subject to approval.
Guests must attend alongside the Member
Must be arranged in advance via WhatsApp (+44 7715 323344)
Guests are not permitted without prior confirmation
Members’ bookings take priority. Solo reserves the right to remove or reallocate guest bookings where space is required for paying Members, including where a Member is on a waitlist.
Payment
Membership payments are collected automatically.
Failed payments will be retried
Members must resolve payment issues promptly
Membership access will remain active while payment is being resolved, provided the Member is actively engaging in resolving the issue.
If payment remains outstanding for more than 30 days:
The Member will be in breach of contract
The full balance may become due
Solo reserves the right to refer the matter to a third party, which may incur additional fees
Add-On Sessions and Services
Members may purchase additional services outside of their membership allocation.
Subject to availability
Non-transferable and non-refundable unless otherwise agreed
Do not replace or replicate a full membership
Solo reserves the right to limit or adjust add-on services, availability, and pricing.
Membership Changes
Members may request to change their membership at any time by contacting Solo The Training Club.
Changes will take effect from the Member’s next billing date, unless otherwise agreed
Where a change is implemented mid-billing cycle, Solo may apply a pro-rata adjustment, with any difference in cost either charged or refunded accordingly
Members on legacy or grandfathered rates may move between equivalent membership options within the previous pricing structure, at Solo’s discretion.
Solo reserves the right to apply current pricing where a membership change significantly alters the level or type of service.
Legacy Pricing
Members on legacy or grandfathered pricing retain access to these rates while their membership remains active.
Legacy pricing applies only while a membership remains active and continuous
If a membership is cancelled or terminated for any reason, access to legacy pricing will be forfeited
Any future membership will be subject to current pricing at the time of rejoining
Legacy pricing is non-transferable and cannot be reinstated once forfeited.
Pause Policy
Pauses are intended for longer-term or significant circumstances, including but not limited to:
Medical reasons
Extended travel
Exceptional life circumstances
Short-term absences are not eligible.
Duration and Fees:
Minimum pause: 1 month
Support pauses: No holding fee. Members must provide notice, including a start and end date where practicable.
Lifestyle pauses: £25/month holding fee. Members must provide notice, including a start and end date.
During a pause:
No access to sessions, classes, facilities, or coaching services
The Member’s place within Solo will be held
Requesting a Pause:
Requests must be submitted to management at gemma@solo-thetrainingclub.co.uk. All pauses are subject to approval.
Restrictions:
Pauses cannot be used during a cancellation notice period
Not available on non-recurring memberships
Cancellation Policy
Members may cancel by submitting a request to gemma@solo-thetrainingclub.co.uk
Notice Period:
A minimum of one (1) full billing cycle’s notice is required
The Member’s next scheduled payment will be taken as the final payment
Membership will remain active until the end of that billing cycle
Conditions:
Cancellation requests cannot be backdated
Notice periods cannot be replaced with, or served during, a pause
Final Month Options:
Solo may, at its discretion, offer flexibility during the final billing cycle, including:
Moving to a lower membership
Moving to a reduced holding membership with no access to the facilities (£49)
Other reasonable adjustments
These options are not guaranteed and are assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Communication
Members must use the appropriate communication channels:
Membership-related requests must be sent to gemma@solo-thetrainingclub.co.uk
WhatsApp (+44 7715 323344) may be used for general or informal communication
Requests submitted via WhatsApp may be redirected to the appropriate support channel.
Responses will be provided during operating hours. Messages sent outside of these times may be responded to in the next working period.
If a message is time-sensitive, the team will aim to respond as soon as possible.
Solo is not responsible for requests not submitted through the appropriate channels.
Gym Closures
Solo does not operate on bank holidays.
No reimbursement will be provided for planned closures
Solo may close or operate with reduced running hours during the Christmas and New Year period.
This is a planned annual closure
Memberships will continue as normal
No reimbursement, discount, or extension will be provided
In rare or exceptional circumstances, Solo may close outside of the normal schedule.
Where practicable, at least one (1) week’s notice will be provided
No reimbursement will be provided
Force Majeure
Solo The Training Club shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in providing services due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural events, government restrictions, or unforeseen facility issues.
Amendments to Terms and Conditions
Solo reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.
Existing members will be notified of these updates via the Solo app at least one (1) month prior to the effective date. Continued use of Solo The Training Club’s services after this date will be deemed acceptance of the updated Terms and Conditions.
Effective Date
For New Members:
These Terms and Conditions are effective from 22nd April 2026 and apply to all memberships entered into on or after this date.
For Existing Members:
These Terms and Conditions will become effective for existing members from 22nd May 2026.
